This is my first ever attmpt at something like this and I think it is going to be the style I will stick to in the future, I spent a good few hours on this piece and I am quite pleased with it, I never thought I could achieve something like this only using photoshop and a couple of photos, but I have! Its not perfect but oh well... anyway I would like advice if you are willing to give it, so please fire away and comment lots!!! maybe a few favs? hehe
Tho the atmosphere is a bit too blueish and has allmost no opacity on the planet side.
There is something wrong with the lighting too, as you see the sun aint where the light hits the planet.
Do I detect a bit of inverted colors on the planet, even tho if you wanted it there, it doesnt look that cool at all.
Wonderful spacescape, really well done, and detailed! Very interesting, though i would suggest a different title; something more poetic to describe the true beauty of this peice. Great work!

Realistic looking picture. I can tell you spent some time on it. I can't offer advice because I don't really do work like that, so I would have no idea what I am talking about. To me, it looks very pretty ^^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The photonotes.org Dictionary of Film and Digital Photography is one place to stop and get it all answered. This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.
